At what level was the “Circle VP” for “Seen Proved” stamp placed on the underside with the barrel–adhering to the heavy load tests, the “VP” being applied following the visual inspection of your barrel? The “VP” is located on each 1892 and 1894 barrel I have noticed from the start to the top of production, bridging the day for the looks of your “WP”. Then why the addition with the “WP”—I admit I am no history buff, just curious regarding the reasoning for the “WP”.
